One of my favorite houses in the town of Edenton, North Carolina is Beverly Hall. It is an architectural masterpiece, yet it feels so comfortable with its interior opulence. And the owners are such nice people.
Beverly Hall was originally built in 1810! From 1811 to 1836 it operated as the old State Bank. It still has the original vault inside it.
The skeleton key to get inside the vault is the largest and heaviest key I have ever held.
I wish everyone could go inside this house to see for yourselves! And guess what? You can! We were there for the annual Edenton Christmas Candlelight Tour. Trust me, it is a must!
The homes and the history in Edenton is amazing to me! A trip there should be on your bucket list! And I know a great place you can stay! The Inner Banks Inn! It’s our favorite inn located in Edenton!
