Historic 1909 Mitchell Mill 3.5 acre property .The restoration of this beautiful post beam structure has been a 30+ year effort now totaling 3,128 sqft .A new Suite 566 sqft is Non-permitted but done by professional contractors. Rich, Amber 120-yrold heart pine floors adorn the main house along with massive post and beams .Interior walls are not load bearing.so rooms can be adjusted to owners needs .In 1985 a water well was drilled to supply the house .The result was a high yield Artesian water source. Upon mapping the well ,the US Geological Survey team determined that pressurized water was emanating from an aquifer of some size through a crack at the bottom of the bore hole. The free flowing volume was estimated to be around 342 gal per min 35 years later the well still supplies the domestic water supply requiring no pump and supplying thermal energy for the heat pump.
