Old House Life and the Inner Banks Inn in Edenton, NC need your help!!

December 4, 2018

Old House Life was invited back to the beautiful Inner Banks Inn in Edenton, North Carolina for the Historic District’s Candlelight Christmas Tour. And once again, the innkeeper and proprietor of the Inner Banks Inn, Susan Beckwith, has graciously opened up her inn for us. Susan is a great lady and friend and truly loves her inn and her guests.

The Inner Banks Inn is really a unique bed and breakfast. It is comprised of four historic homes and you can choose a room from those homes! They also have another historic home that is their restaurant, and trust me, the food is to die for!!

The last time we stayed there we gave you all a video tour of the Packhouse, which was a tobacco pack house back in the day. It was moved to the Inn to save it from demolition. You can look at that video and post right here.

We decided this time it would be more fun to let you all choose which house you want to see! The one with the most votes will be the winner! All of the houses have gone through some updating and redecorating, so we really can’t go wrong! Head over to Facebook, Instagram or email me on the website to cast your vote and on December 15th you will see the winning house on video!!

House #1- The Lord’s Proprietor

House #2- The Tillie Bond Cottage

House #3- Satterfield House

A couple of these houses are supposedly haunted, so maybe we will catch something during our video tour!! Trust me, Edenton is such a quaint town with so many historic homes that we had to lift our jaws up off the floor! I want to live there one day!!
