It’s nice to see a house of this age still looking pretty original! I love that upstairs bathroom with the claw foot tub and the fireplace! This house was moved to this location in 1976 to save it from demolition. Built in 1810, but it is believed to be even older, possibly 1795. In 1850 it went through a renovation by well known Warren County architect, A. G. Jones. Located on .70 acres in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 3,550 square feet. $184,900!

From the Zillow listing:

The Morgan-Beaman-Winborne House is a beautiful historic home, dating back to at least 1810. Due to the burning of the courthouse in Winton, NC, the actual date is thought to be much earlier as it once started out as a side hall home around 1795. It is rich with documented history was moved from Main Street in 1976 to its current location to save it from demolition. The house underwent a complete restoration. This home was moved with the original chimney intact. The restoration called for new chimneys throughout the house but still keeping the original chimney in the dining room. This House has the original trim from a restoration done by A.G. Jones, a well-known architect from Warren County. in 1850. Jones displayed hallmarks of the Greek Revival mode that suggest other work as his: these symmetrical, 2-story frame houses are distinguished by oversize bulls-eye corner blocks at doors and windows, frequent use of triple windows and geometric tracery in transoms and sidelights, and his favored spool-turned molding. His work can also be seen in the front parlor and main foyer including a beautiful staircase. Jones’ marbleizing can still be seen.
This is truly a very historical find, to be able to go back and read all of the histories on the Morgans, Beamans, and the Winbornes on this wonderful house.
