This is an interesting property! I had to do some digging to find out information on it. I know this area pretty well and have never heard of this place. It’s quite unique with multiple structures on the property. They were skimpy on pictures, but I did find some online. Magnolia Plantation was built in 1800 and was originally home to Captain William Haymes. Interesting that he is buried here in Danville. It is located on five acres in South Boston, Virginia. In 1992 a woman purchased the property and started collecting other buildings to be brought to the property, including an old chapel, a victorian barbershop and log cabins. It was used as a bed and breakfast and a wedding venue. This is a foreclosure property. Tempted to go see it, but I don’t have time this week. Ten bedrooms, six bathrooms and 11,520 square feet. $280,000
