From the Zillow listing:
The home of Jesse A. Clement (1808–1876) is a key piece of Davie County history. It is a fine ex. of regional Federal-style architecture. The two-story home was constructed with bricks made on the property, featuring both English and Flemish bond patterns. The house includes three bays, 9-over-9 sash windows with some original wavy glass, and seven hand-carved fireplaces (three of which are working). Much of the original interior has been preserved, including heart pine flooring, pegged doors, and woodwork. The attic beams, secured with large pegs, are still visible. The design shows skilled craftsmanship, and despite changes over time, much of the original architecture remains intact. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, the property includes nearly 13 acres, main level master, full bath, screened porch, 3 upstairs bedrooms, two full baths, a shop w/ a guest suite, and a full bath, 2,655 SF, city water, and sewer. It would make a great Bed and Breakfast!
