December 2, 2020

The home was moved to its current location in 1920. This house was built in 1900. It is located in Franklin, Louisiana. It is believed that the upstairs shower was Franklin’s first walk in shower. There are original hardwood floors and a nice staircase with intricate detailing. The home has original solid wood doors. If it were my house I would get rid of the tile. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and 3,037 square feet. $125,000

Love Vintage? THIS IS THE HOME FOR YOU! This is one of my favorite vintage homes in Franklin because of the uniqueness. 208 Morris Street is an absolutely charming (cicra 1900) home that was moved in the 1920’s from the Hanson Sawmill in Garden City. It needs some work but the vintage chic characteristics throughout are well worth the time- hardwood floors and ceilings, gorgeous staircase, vintage bathrooms, beautiful trim and antique doors. The home was originally built in Garden City in early 1900s. It was then moved and rebuilt in the 1920s at the current location. A few of the ceilings have the hardwood that was originally used on the floor when in Garden City. Upstairs is rumored to have Franklin’s first walk-in shower. Located in the historic district right off of Main Street.
