Mountain Serenity! Main house, plus guest cabin in NC. $210,000

June 18, 2019

Another North Carolina mountain house that I need! That view is amazing! This home was built in 1940. It is located on 1.62 acres in Newland, North Carolina. There is a guest house on the property that has one bedroom and one bathroom. The property has a hot tub, pond, stream, and a spring. The Appalachian Trail runs up above the property and the Toe River runs below it. Ignore the price listed on Zillow, it is incorrect. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 1,200 square feet. $210,000

From the Zillow listing:

MOUNTAIN SERENITY: Perched at the ideal elevation of thirty-eight hundred feet above sea level, You will never want to leave this property-cabin 2/2 with guest cottage 1/1. Views, hot tub, a stream, a pond, and robust spring. The Appalachian Trail runs across the top of this mountain and the Toe river with its wonderful mountain trout fishing, runs at the foot. Don’t drag your feet, at this price, it won’t be available for long  $210,000
What I love about this home
cool breezes, inspirational views and a nostalgic tug on the heart strings taking me back to what life really should be, Family, Friends, and enjoying the beauty of God’s magnificent creation. Our family has enjoyed many wonderful times of food, fun, and fellowship at this charming little cottage. Now it’s time for the next family to do the same.
