Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and 2,232 square feet. $339,900

From the Zillow listing:

Built in 1907, this Historic District home is considered architecturally significant because it is one of just a few Dutch Colonial Revival style homes in Sanford. It is said that the staircase knoll was hand carved as a gift for the original owner (a local insurance agent named A.P. Connelly) and that the light fixture came from the Belleview-Biltmore Hotel, a historic resort hotel in Belleair, FL, after it underwent renovations. A list of all inhabitants of the home from 1907 onward is also available, thanks to the Sanford Museum. It is also believed that the home is a Sears Roebuck house. The lot, at 64 feet wide, allows for a generous side yard on both sides of the house. The roof is from 2019, the upstairs a/c is about 2 years old, and the home has blown in attic insulation. Electrical has been updated. Let’s talk layout. You’ll love the openness and large rooms; downstairs has a dining room, den, kitchen, half bath and office (or bedroom, but no closet) and en suite full bathroom. Upstairs, all three bedrooms are generously proportioned, and the hallway is spacious.  The kitchen has a gas stove, and the tankless water heater is gas also. The gas Franklin stove in the great room heats the whole house. Although it is over 110 years old, the home has maintained many of its original leaded glass windows and original floors.    It is located just blocks from the downtown restaurants, antique stores, the library, bars and cafes. It is also located within the golf cart zone. Don’t miss the virtual tour.
