What I Love About The Home
This beautiful home is a part of the rich history of the town of Washington! Originally built by a sister of the Britton family, the home was at one time also a church and the local Farm Bureau. The home was moved to its present location in the early 1960?s after which it was owned by a single family until we took ownership 2005. We purchased this home because we fell in love with the intricate detail, some of its unique features, the amount of space it provided, the wonderful curb appeal and the large double lot. This created great opportunities for our family (nine children) to have friends over and be able to entertain. The home was always a great talking point as people wanted to find out more about its history.
