My company, Restoration Depot, purchased the structure to be moved to a 3.28 acre lot overlooking Ken’s Lake at 1909 MS Highway 403, near Mathiston, Mississippi. Excluding porches and previously poorly done additions which were removed, 100% of the original house was moved and placed on an appropriately engineered pier and beam foundation designed for the sloped lot. Additionally, a large quantity of historical materials were harvested from the other two structures located on the parcel in Maben, both of which were 100 +/- years old.
