From the Zillow listing:

An architectural jewel, the detailing throughout this home is very suggestive of the English Tudor style, which Memphis architect J. Frazier Smith drew upon for inspiration in 1930 when designing this livable home. Purchased in 2005, the current owners spent a year restoring and rehabbing to keep the original Tudor Revival feel of the home intact while updating throughout for today’s needs. The extensive restoration of this 8000 square foot property(7592 square feet in the main house and 490 square feet in the pool house)includes refinishing and staining of the original hardwoods throughout the house, the entry staircase railing, and the wooden ceiling beams. Plaster walls throughout have been lovingly repaired and repainted. The sunroom walls have been opened to reveal windows that had been walled over in an earlier renovation and matching leaded glass windows installed. What was a hunting room by the prior owners has become the communal den, the perfect spot to watch an afternoon football game! A wine cellar now occupies what was formerly a dressing area for the pool. Four bedrooms including the master suite occupy the second floor with a laundry/utility room. A combination fifth bedroom/sitting room with an en suite bathroom sits on the third floor offering gorgeous treed views. The sixth bedroom with an en suite bathroom is sited directly over the den allowing for use as an mother-in-law suite and/or private guest suite. The pool, which was one of two original pools in the City of Jackson, the accompanying pool house(erected in 1970s), and the tennis courts were included in the extensive restoration taken on by the current owners. In 2010, the owners were successful in listing the home on the National Registry for Historic Places.
