The following information was taken from a book the NC Dept of History compiled, entitled The Historic Architecture of Warsaw. ”A simple Federal I house with a one-story shed extension across the back, the structure exhibits elements of Greek Revival styling in the full façade shed porch and the reeded pilasters between the front door and its adjacent three paneled sidelights. Originally built in 1830, the house contains original door locks and latches with pegged and numbered rafters in the attic.” The house remained with the original owners family until 1967, when it was relocated by Dr. Mett B Ausley.
