Views of Chincoteague. It’s close to the beach with the wild ponies. I have been there before, it’s a pristine beach! Built in 1920 in the village of Greenbackville, Virginia. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 1,507 square feet. $98,400

From the Zillow listing:

What amazing views from this traditional waterman’s home in the small village of Greenbackville. The roof level deck gives you views from the harbor clear across to Chincoteague Island. This home features a great sitting room with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams overlooking the back yard. There is a spacious eat-in kitchen with plenty of storage. On first level you’ll also find a full bath, bedroom and large storage/utility room.Upstairs are two bedrooms and one features a large en-suite bathroom. The third floor is a large attic space with lots of windows and it is fully floored. You can use your imagination on this room.

What I Love About The Home
We built a 3 floor part wrapped around deck on the back of the house which views the wetlands and Chincoteague Bay-great views, great bird watching, relaxing. Walking out from the bottom floor you walk onto a treated wood deck. We bought the house because Greenbackville is a quaint community reminding us of New England fishing villages. It is very close to Chincoteague town and the Assateague Beaches with the ponies, great National Park , The rocket launching bases at Wallops Island, and much more! The house is also raised approx. 3 feet above the ground. We redid the whole interior of the house when we bought it in 2002 . We have the entire property with an enclosed fence and there is a pond on the back of the property.
