Two garage doors with openers , one driveway to High St. one to the alley in the back.Appliances stay. The header on zillow is incorrect , this home is located at 505 N. Union St. Fostoria 44830.
What I love about the home
Victorian charm with leaded windows , quarter sawn oak mill work and turn of the century light fixtures. 10′ ceilings , window seat in the tower room upstairs.Beautiful open staircase. Huge front porch which has been completely rebuilt. Master suite has remodeled bath.Spacious rooms with plenty of light. we’ve had 35+ on holidays and never felt the slightest bit cramped.Nice lot , old , beautiful landscaping. If you are into history this home has a functioning servants call system (Downton Abbey) , also the home was built in 1865 by Charles Olmsted , brother-in-law of governor Charles Foster who was also Secretary of the U.S. Treasury.I’ve done a lot to try and bring her back , but health dictates I sell. If you’re ambitious there is a ton of sweat equity left to be made. If you’re looking for a place that is finished, then this wouldn’t be for you.Its currently livable but needs exterior work and some interior cosmetics.
