Berry Hill Plantation and Resort is located in South Boston, Virginia. It is one of my favorite places to explore. And guess what? Anyone can go out there and you don’t have to be staying at the resort. If you love history I highly recommend it! Explore the grounds, go in the main house which was owned by the venerable Bruce family. Take the mile hike back to the slave cemetery. It will make you pause and reflect.
