Owned by Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s co-owner. Circa 1936. Two acres in Palm Beach. $44,900,000

When I saw this listing, I knew I had to do some digging to find out who owns it. The home is owned by the co-owner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Darcie Glazer Kassewitz and her husband, Joel Kassewitz. Her husband is a private banker. Darcie heads foundations for the Glazer family. Where did they get their money? Her father was late billionaire businessman, Malcolm Glazer. He died in 2014. The home was built in 1936. There is a main residence, a pool cabana, and a guest house.

Who originally owned the home? It was first owned by philanthropist, Isabel Collier Read. She lived there until her death in 2008. She was married to the late Miles Collier. He was a son of Barron Gift Collier. He was the namesake of Collier County.

When I read all of this history and the price of this home my first thought is, do they have full time security that monitors the property? Like actual real people that watch it? I would be worried about home invasions. Another thought, do they make Target runs? I doubt Mrs. Kassewitz is out buying Xhilaration tank tops. Lol.

Six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and 11,443 square feet. $44,900,000
