This has me kind of speechless! This is the most ornate house I have shared on here. The Holgate Mansion was built in 1906 for Mathew Holgate. He owned the Holgate Real Estate Company and the Holgate Bros. Brush Company, which was founded in 1775. Mr. Holgate died in 1932. There is just so much going on with this house! The exterior is beautiful with touches of gothic going on. Would love to know how much of the interior is original. This home is located in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
