Interesting history! “Central House”, Circa 1875 in Colonial Beach, Virginia. $151,500

August 17, 2019

Such an interesting history! The “Central House” was built in 1875. It is located in Colonial Beach, Virginia. This was originally the central house of large farm called, ‘White Point Farm’. In 1882 the farm was subdivided and lots and streets were made. White Point Farm became Colonial Beach. If this were my house, I would try to undo the past renovations and try to go back to as original as I could. Six bedrooms, two bathrooms, and 1,822 square feet. $151,500

From the Zillow listing:

Historic Home “Central House” built 1875, famous as the oldest existing house in the original Town of Colonial Beach.  Truly midway between the Potomac River and Monroe Bay. The Point location is just a short walk to the vibrant downtown’s restaurants, shopping, town fishing pier, beach, marinas and more.  Plenty of room for family gatherings with 1,822 fin sqft.  6 bedrooms, 2 baths –one with outside entrance for coming home from boating or the beach.  If you love front porch sitting and people watching, this is the one for you!
