It’s been awhile since I have checked for the most expensive old house listing in each state. I check between the dates of 1700-1940. Alabama didn’t change, but check out this Arkansas beauty! And it has quite a history! Built in 1891 for industrialist, Curtis Wright. It was originally constructed in Carthage, Missouri for Wright, his wife and their eight children. It was disassembled and moved to Eureka Springs, Arkansas in 1984. In 2010 it became an event venue. It was then a private residence, but owned by investors to use. It even has a spa for their guests. Located on 5.07 acres. Seven bedrooms, twelve bathrooms, and 12,000 square feet. $5,700,000

From the Zillow listing:

This 12000 square foot single family home has 7 bedrooms and 12.0 bathrooms. It is located at 115 W Van Buren Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
