Built in 1940 in the NC mountains in desirable Bryson City. The interior really surprised me!! Located on almost one acre. Original pine floors and even has a claw foot tub. And that screened in porch is perfection! One bedroom and one bathroom. $124,900

From the Zillow listing:

Dreaming of a Mountain Getaway that takes you back in time? This is it! Cabins like this do not come on the market often. An original 1940s cabin nestled just off Kirklands Creeks and minutes to downtown Bryson CIty. The character of this place is unmatched. Hand-scraped logs, original pine floors, wormy chestnut cabinets, wood burning stove, and a claw-foot tub. With an open concept living area and an airy loft bedroom, this little cabin has so much potential. With the sound of creek in the distance, you will find it easy to reminisce on that good times. The screened in front porch is longing for a banjo, some rocking chairs and good company. The easy laying land gives you space for a garden or create a patio spot by the stream. A tool shed, workshop, and detached garage provide a little extra space for any hobby. Visit the cabin and feel the warmth and charm that only this one of a kind property could provide.

What I love about the home
It is on a dead end road and has a creek running through the acre lot, so you can hear it running by while sitting on the screened porch. It is shaded and cool in the summer.
